President of India’s greetings on Idu’l Zuha
The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has greeted fellow citizens on the occasion of Idu’l Zuha, which is being celebrated tomorrow.

In his message the President has said, “On the occasion of Idu’l Zuha, I convey greetings and best wishes to all fellow citizens, especially my Muslim brothers and sisters. 



Idu’l Zuha symbolizes sacrifice, faith and devotion. Let us this day imbibe the spirit of universal love, brotherhood, sacrifice and service which constitute eternal values always upheld by our composite culture and work unitedly for peace, progress and prosperity of our nation and the world”. 


Vice President Greets Citizens on Eid-ul-Zuha The Vice President of India Shri M. Hamid Ansari has greeted the citizens of our country on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Zuha. In his message, he has said that the festival, which symbolizes the spirit of supreme sacrifice, promotes peace, love and compassion in the society.
Following is the text of Vice President’s message :
“I extend my greetings and good wishes to the citizens of our country on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Zuha.
The festival, which symbolizes the spirit of supreme sacrifice, promotes peace, love and compassion in the society.
Let us celebrate this festival to strengthen unity and fraternity amongst us.” 


 Asian Games 2014 Minister for Skill Development, Entrepreneurship, Youth Affairs and Sports Shri Sarbananda Sonowal has congratulated all the 57 medal winners of the country at the 17th Asian Games 2014. The last two gold medals for India were won by Men and Women’s Kabbadi teams.
India’s final medal tally at the Games was 57 medals (11 Gold, 9 Silver and 37 Bronze).
