IBPS CWE 4 Clerk Score Calculation and Selection Process

As we all know that IBPS CWE 4 Clerk Written Examination Results are out now. Dear Future Banker first of all I would like to congratulate all of you who crack the first stage of Written Exam to grab a Bank job in India. After the first stage Students are now most concerned about their bright chances in the interview stage for the final selection in the banking line. After clearing the first stage of Written Exam, the candidates will be called for a common interview. Now the most common question that comes in everyone mind is that “What I have to do to get through interview process for IBPS CWE 4 Clerk?

In IBPS CWE 4 Clerk notification it is clearly mentioned that: "Total marks for written test is 200 and total marks for Interview are 100. Therefore the ratio for Common Written Exam for IBPS CWE 4 Clerk and for the interview will be 80:20.”

IBPS In simple words it means, that in the Interview process you will get the marks out of 100. We can say it more simply that your marks in CWE will be converted to OUT OF 80 and Interview Marks will be converted to OUT OF 20. So the final merit list or selection list will be made on the basis of total marks obtained out of 100.


How CWE Score will be converted: Let’s see some example below on how your written exam score will be converted to out of 80 (The Formula Used for Calculating is: Actual Score Obtained *80/200)
Example: Ajay Score in CWE 4 Clerk=60 Marks
CWE Score out of 80 = 60*80/200 =24 Marks.
So 24 marks will be his written Exam score out of 80. Similarly you can also calculate your Score out of 80.

How Interview Score will be converted: Let’s understand how’s your Interview score will be converted to out of 20. In this process you have to use the formula: Interview Score*20/100.
Example: Ajay Score 30 Marks in interview.
Interview Marks Out of 20 = 30*20/100 = 6 Marks.

At the End the Final Score will be calculated by adding up the above two scores.
Total Marks for Ajay= CWE Score out of 80 + Interview Marks Out of 20
 = 24+6 = 30 Marks

The Interview is the major crucial stage for selection process and if you do your 100% in interview round, you will definitely grab a Bank job.
